Self-professed Belfast layabout, musician and DJ misspends
his time in bars and clubs around the world, as one of dance
culture’s most in-demand DJs. He has also produced several
albums under his own name, and has just released the critically
acclaimed debut album of his new musical vehicle The Free
Association. Add to that an extensive CV as a producer and
also as an arranger of film scores – with movies such
as Resurrection Game, Out Of Sight and Oceans Eleven to his
credit – and it is plain Holmes is a man of many talents.
The Psychonauts are known for their dj skills and previous
association with Mo' Wax. Producers of pulsing electronic
funk, lush pastoral pop, cinematic disco funk and more. The
Psychonauts are eclectic evangelists with Pablo's tastes switching
from the krautrock sounds of Neu to experimental hip hop/early
electronic music. The Pyschonauts 'Songs For Creatures' was
one of the most surprising and memorable debuts of 2003.
