  CHEAP DATE 2

WEDNESDAY MAY 5
FESTIVAL MARQUEE 7.30PM

Fritz Lang’s Metropolis story of a futuristic city driven by an enslaved population has been described as the first ever science fiction film and has a cult status among fans of the genre.

Ever since its first release, its soundtrack has been interpreted, presented and edited in various regarded and disregarded versions. In a unique project, four Northern Ireland based musicians have together composed the soundtrack to the film. Each musician has interpreted a 20-minute section of the film. The musicians will be Rachel Holstead, Antoine Rivoire, Jason Dickson and John O’Neill (The Undertones).

Film screens at 7.30pm

The project has been managed by Moving On Music and The Nerve Centre in Derry.
