THURSDAY
29 APRIL
DUKE OF YORK 8.00PM
Goodbye to the DJ dictatorship, welcome to the DJ democracy.
Everybody wants 15 minutes of fame, everybody wants to be
a DJ – ‘Stick it On’ gives you the chance.
Fed up with the same old club nights playing the same old
music week after predictable week? With ‘Stick it On’
there are no resident DJ’s, definitely no so-called
superstar DJ’s and the music is provided by you –
if you want to.
Each person Stickin’ it On gets a 15 minute slot. If
you fancy giving it a go, all you have to do is choose the
records that you would play before going out for the night
of a lifetime.
You can play either vinyl or CD (we’re no vinyl snobs)
and mixing is actively discouraged. So if you don’t
know your Timo Maas from your bangers ‘n mash, you can
still look like a DJ.
To apply for a slot simply e-mail info@cqaf.com with your
5 tunes and your DJ monicker. We’ll get back to you.
Tickets £4 available from the Festival office
