Explosion Soundsystem is a Belfast based Reggae collective. Since May 2002 they have been presenting the finest in Jamaican music on a monthly basis at venues around Belfast. Currently, they are in residence at The John Hewitt, Belfast, on the first Thursday of every month.

With their authentic take on the Jamaican soundsystem experience, Explosion have been regularly chosen to open for visiting reggae greats such as Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, Mikey Dread, and Dennis Al Capone.
