Organised by the Creative Writers Network, the Brian Moore
Short Story Awards have grown to become one of the foremost
literary prizes on these islands with previous winners
going on to enjoy much publishing success. This year’s
judge will be announced at the launch.

The
Oh Yeah Northern Ireland Dance Awards were launched in
1999, a celebration of the developing club culture, in
terms of DJ’s, venues, entrepreneurs, special events
and live music. As before, there will be shortlists for
each category and this year’s winners will be voted
for online at www.ohyeah.net.
As well as handling out the awards, Oh Yeah will present
three live acts: Jupiter Ace, Welt and Capo Regime. Visuals
from Ricky Stubbs. DJ’s Timmy Stewart and Kato will
be playing the tunes.
