1997 Turner Prize nominee Gillian Wearing belongs to the group of young innovative British artists making a profound impact on art of the nineties. Wearing placed an advert in Time Out magazine inviting people to confess anything that they wanted to say in front of the camera. The result is a series of weird obsessions, disturbing and surreal fantasies from men and women hiding behind masks.
