Two people meet at a derelict bus stop. Both waiting. Their separate lives are stalled by a single incident that now joins them together. What can they say to each other? Sole Purpose’s startling production looks at the issue of ex-political prisoners and victims and allow audiences to re-write and re-direct the play using their own experiences, imagination and reactions to the story they have just seen.

Total Theatre winner and a HUGE hit at the Edinburgh Festival 2000, 3 Dark Tales is the heart warming and poignant story of three people whose lives are closely linked, although they don’t know it yet.

Exploring the everyday oppressions that keep us down and wear us out on a daily basis; oppressions that we occasionally, dramatically and emphatically overcome.

Both extremely funny and touchingly tragic, 3 Dark Tales weaves these three lives into one, revealing the humanity in all of us, with it’s happy or not-so-happy ever after.

Using a fantastic soundtrack, Keatonesque slapstick big dance numbers and text as you’ve never heard it, 3 Dark Tales is popular and accessible show that will ‘restore your faith in theatre’.

Tickets £10/£8 (£6 concession on £8 ticket) available from The Waterfront Hall.
