Avant punk art surf trio Die Kunst are an art project produced with a powerful analogue sentiment.

Re-working the traditional song format, Die Kunst craft one line lyrics on themes encompassing the civil rights movement, the domestication of animals, Flowers the Space Race, Hitler and Jesus.
With influences as disparate as Art Blakey and Sham 69 (and a perceptible Krautrock undertow), the music is as sonorous as it is discordant.

This event is part of The International Language project by Grassy Knoll productions.

Performance starts 9.00pm

U.U.B. undergraduate Cathy Surgeoner, also a member of the collective 'Loop', debuts her exhibition in the underground depths of the Lagan Weir. The video installation concentrates on a more mellow ambience in comparison to the sometimes hectic dance visuals Loop are more commonly associated with. The final year student has worked with various DJ's and musicians the most recent of those being Scanner, with visuals integrating her personal journeys, live footage and animated text. The triptych follows a journey of personal thoughts with a soundscape of illegible whispers. The installation has a filmic quality and dream-like atmosphere where one can take a minute away from daily stresses.
