The DISTORTION PROJECT opened its doors on January 20th 2000 at Auntie Annies, after what was essentially a three year gestation period. Encompassing thirty years of rock and punk and a clientele range from 18 year old Slipknot fans to 45 year old Deep Purple disciples these determined Belfast event promoters have secured a growing reputation founded on representing the best in local and international rock and metal music as well as running a policy of supporting local talent and regularly showcasing demos by local bands.

2001 has seen a period of change for the DISTORTION PROJECT, with a move to the Front Page for the club nights and a return to their original monthly Slot. This special Cathedral Quarter night will feature a number of as yet undisclosed live acts and regular DJ performance. For more information check out www.thedistortionproject.com
