PATRICK MC DONNELL

Patrick McDonell has been standing up and making people laugh since 1996, when he appeared as a novice at the Kilkenny Cat Laughs Comedy Festival. He later went on to appear in the final of Channel 4’s So You Think You’re Funny? competition in Edinburgh. Since then he has returned to both festivals, appeared in a film with a band synonymous with his act (the very scary Prodigy) and continues to impress audiences both in Britain and in Ireland with his unique brand of outraged nonsense.

‘Splendidly original and a bit bizarre, he is the business’ The Sunday Times

‘McDonnell’s tales of growing up in Ireland are counterbalanced by some hilarious religious routines’ The Stage

DAVID DOHERTY

Winner of Channel 4’s ‘So You Think You’re Funny?’ Award and Perrier Newcomer Award, David Doherty’s stand material explores such diverse topics as yodelling, flamingos and how you should get 10% more money for going on a Winning Streak and talking in Irish. His ambition remains to get a letter in the Life’s like That section of the Readers Digest.
