Urban Circus follows on from the sell out success of Circus of Wonders 2002 and brings together the formidable talents of Belfast’s premiere youth circus performers.

Under the direction of one of the world’s top circus directors, Stephen Burton from Australia, this production combines the traditional thrills and spills of circus with contemporary sounds and movement to create an urban landscape where anything is possible – a world where the Steek Fairies meet the Bouncers from Hell.

Be dazzled and delighted by acrobats, wirewalkers, jugglers and trapeze artists in a spectacle that will leave audiences breathless and standing on their head. The 30 or so performers will make you laugh,
cry and gasp as they redefine how we think about circus, placing themselves and Belfast firmly on the world stage.
