Havana 'che are a 10 piece group playing contemporary Cuban
Salsa. A collaboration of the best Cuban and Irish musicians
playing Latin music in this country, Havana 'che deliver a
high-octane blend of Salsa, Mambo and Rumba that is guaranteed
to set the feet moving and the hips swaying. This promises
to be a very special night celebrating the final night of
the Festival.
Havana 'che comprise of musicians at the top of their field.
Vocalists Evelio Galan and Antonio Marrero from Cuba, and
from Spain the wonderful singer Nuria ensure the absolute
authenticity of the group’s sound. Led by Conor Guilfoyle,
this band is built on the foundation of an irresistible percussion
groove punctuated with a blistering brass section The music
pulsates with an energy that will waken even the least rhythmic
of souls.
This will be a rousing, rhythmic end to a long ten days (for
us) but music this good will sweep all tiredness away. Guest
