LAGAN WEIR
It’s not often you chance upon a 60 foot beached sperm
whale, but when you do it tends to be fairly memorable. But
it’s nothing compared with what you’ll experience
down by the Lagan over the weekend. It’s inflatable.
It’s inhabited by a Mermaid and a Shipwrecked Pirate.
It’s guarded by a nosy Fish Wife. And it’s open
to the public.
Brave landlubbers are invited into the belly of the whale
to witness a stunning seascape and hear the extraordinary
fishy tales of its inhabitants. Audience numbers are limited
to 25 per show so it is advisable to phone to guarantee a
place.
