  KEN CAMPBELL’S MEANING OF LIFE

Thursday May 5 | Belfast Circus School | 8.00pm

Is it our mission in life to discover our “adventure” and pang ourselves off on it?

Or are we merely entertainment for deranged demi-gods the butt of a joke of such cosmic proportions it may be necessary to travel through the wall or on very personal orificular journeys in order to appreciate it? Or is it dogs?

Ken doesn’t know the answers but ‘there are some things I’ve found helpful’. These include the Japanese translation of Anne of Green Gables, the last 20 minutes of Jackie Chan’s Drunken Master II, page 81 of the Times Books Atlas of the Crusades, the Cherokee booger event and Khazars, Cathars and Jeremy Beadle.

Ken continues his search for the holy grail of comedy, the state of mind in which everything is funny.

'I’m not mad, I’ve just read different books.'
