HAIKU & ZEN WITH GABRIEL ROSENSTOCK THE ROOSTER CALENDAR – READING & VIEWING

A very special evening featuring an art exhibition launch, words and music in celebration of the Haiku form and Zen Buddhist philosophy.

Gabriel Rosenstock is a poet, haikuist and author/translator of over 100 books.He is a member of Aosdána and a contributor to Modern Haiku, World Haiku Review and other leading journals. He writes in Irish and English and his latest title is Nasrúidín, retellings of traditional tales surrounding the inimitable Mullah Nasrudin.

Brian Mullan (visual artist), Jim Johnston (poet) and David Caskey (composer), combine their collective artistic visions to bring you The Rooster Calendar – A Reading and Viewing.

The night will also feature Creative Impulse, Newtownabbey’s premier creative writing group, with two successful anthologies recently published.
