Listeners to BBC Radio Ulster’s Gerry Anderson Show will be familiar
with the work of Randall Stephen Hall whose unique sound has
captured the imagination of thousands of listeners.
Performing songs from his recently launched first CD The Wee Wee
Man: Songs from the Moon Shed, Stephen will be joined by musician
friends he calls The Moon Shed, Rohan Young, Michael Sands,
Catherine Sands, Barry Tipping and John McKeever.
Stephen’s influences mainly come from Ireland, Scotland, England,
America and Canada, a musical stew he refers to as “Scots Irish
Fusion”. “I never know where the next idea will come from for a
song, a poem or a story. But I enjoy the process from the original
spark, to recording, and if I’m lucky, playing to an audience with
some friends to raise the spirits.”
