Talking Drum is a collaboration between Zimbabwean musicians Wilson Magwere and Gabriel Makamanzi along with the local Irish percussionist Aidan Milligan.
They formed in 2003 and since then have been seen performing everywhere from civic events, to international music festivals, carnival parades, private parties and local bars. They have even found the time to facilitate workshops with community groups and special needs children. Their album Mavambo has been garnering serious airplay on local stations. Wherever they play there has been a phenomenal response to the music to such an extent that this is one band who have never finished a gig without an encore...
