Basically
my work addresses social concerns. I believe my work has
something to say. It communicates with the unknown. I
believe art speaks for the spirit which does not die.
I have acknowledged the limitations of my work to redeem
the tragedies of life.
As a member of society I address issues that affect and
disturb me. Issues that I can not change. The act of art
making becomes a therapy which releases emotions
within me and connects me to my sense of freedom.
It is the environment that influences my thinking. My
work conveys themes of love, pain, confusion, awareness
and acceptance because I believe there is freedom in acceptance.
