A classical quartet with a difference, combining vocal and instrumental repertoire across the centuries, Demesne are Rachel Thompson, soprano, Brendan Popplestone, guitar, Andrea Rea violin/viola and Fergus Fitzpatrick, cello.
Coming together from diverse backgrounds, these performers explore the relationship between the human voice and stringed instruments through the music of Purcell, Bach, Britten, Copland and Gershwin among others.
