Córas Trio presents a live performance to film  exploring the intricate lives of natural systems. Through live music, dynamic visuals, and interactive soundscapes, the trio transforms organic processes – shifting landscapes, and microbial networks – into a sensory experience. Their performance blends electronic and acoustic textures, mirroring the rhythms and chaos of ecosystems in flux. Vibrant projections pulse with sound, revealing unseen connections within nature. Inspired by the resilience and fragility of our environment, Córas Trio invites audiences to witness nature’s hidden harmonies.

Córas Trio – Kevin McCullagh: fiddle/electronics, Paddy McKeown: guitar/electronics, and Conor McAuley: drums, question what it means to be an Irish person playing improvised music today. Their sound comprises traditional melodies that weave in and out of compelling textures, and foregrounds fiddle, guitar, and percussion with transcendental electronics; suspending elements of collective free improvisation with proper seisiún style playfulness.
