Kris Drever: (Guitar, Tenor Guitar, Mandolin, Double Bass, Vocals) Eamonn Coyne: (Tenor Banjo, Tenor Guitar, Mandolin). Both veterans of the vibrant Edinburgh trad. scene, Eamonn and Kris started playing together over three years ago. Neither are Edinburgh natives; Eamonn is from Ireland and Kris is from Orkney.
In 2007 Kris and Eamonn released Honk Toot Suite. It brings together and highlights the duo's interest in the quirky side of the music they play, culminating in a swingy and groove orientated mix of tunes. As well as recording traditional music of various countries they play some self-penned and some newly written tunes. For this very special lunchtime concert Eamonn Coyne and Kris Drever will perform material from Honk Toot Suite and from Blackwater.
