Dan Eggs comes to perform in your
home!
In this special festival commission, our very own
Cultural Attache from Cullybackey and performance
poet extraordinary Dan Eggs can be booked to visit
your home and work his poetic magic on you and your
guests. There is no set fee for this, but as in
the days of the travelling bards, any donation to
the poet will be gratefully accepted.
Dan grew up in County Antrim, near Ballymoney, where
he attended Dalriada School. After living in Darwin,
Australia for a year he was educated at Trinity
College Dublin, where, on graduating he began to
write poetry more seriously. In subsequent years
he has travelled with it, performing in London,
Europe, New York and of course, Belfast, where he
now lives with his partner, Lorraine. He has published
his work on numerous CDs which have been broadcast
on local and national radio and television. He hopes
to be at peak fitness for this project - Eggs for
