John Hewitt 8.00pmWill Moreau (Cherokee name: Tsiyohi Unhayli Do),
has delighted audiences throughout the United States
and around the world. Moreau is a stunning performer
who celebrates and expresses the diversity of American
society from ancient times to contemporary times
in his performances. In this, his first visit to
Belfast, Will deliver a virtuoso performance combining
a range of ancient arts including song, dance and
storytelling.

Belfast poet Gearoid mac Lochlainn is writer in
residence at the University of Ulster. His work
has been described as performance poetry for
the 21st century and has met with glowing
critical acclaim. Gearoid writes in Irish and English
and his latest dual-language book, Stream Of Tongues/Sruth
Teangacha, (Clo Iar Chonnachta 2002) has received
The Michael Hartnett Award, an Open House Festival
Literature Award and The Ethna and Rupert Strong
Poetry award.
Stands as an evolutionary marker not only
in Irish-language literature, but in Irish literarure
