Duke Special joins forces with the Ulster Orchestra on the opening night of Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival.

On 3 May BBC Northern Ireland, the Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival and NIMIC present a very special venture at the Waterfront Hall.

Belfast's newest music sensation Duke Special will perform songs from his highly acclaimed album Songs from the Deep Forest, making his debut with the Ulster Orchestra.

Fellow Northern Irish singer / songwriter Foy Vance will also join the orchestra and Julie Feeney (Choice Music Winner 2006) will perform a specially written song cycle based on her remarkable debut album 13 Songs.

The concert will be broadcast live on BBC Radio Ulster. Part of an evening of building wide free entertainment at the Waterfront Hall (5pm - late).
