Jigsaw Theatre Company
The Blue Hour by David Mamet
  The Black Box
Thursday 10 May, 1.00pm & 3.00pm
Friday 11 May, 1.00pm & 3.00pm

A shopaholic frantically tries to buy an outfit before the store closes; a patient berates her doctor for being kept in his waiting room for hours; most people are on their way home, and a few are on their way to work.

Welcome to the blue hour, where the light has faded but darkness hasn't quite fallen. In these four short, rarelyperformed vignettes, Mamet (Glengarry Glen Ross, American Buffalo) perfectly captures the subtleties and the atmosphere of rush hour in the big city.

Jigsaw Theatre are quickly gaining a reputation for brightening up lunchtimes in the Cathedral Quarter with their ongoing series of 'a play during the day'.
