R.P. McMurphy (Lalor Roddy) finds himself in jail once again on a charge of statutory rape. He convinces the authorities that he's in need of psychiatric care and is sent to a mental hospital. Here McMurphy’s insubordination and zest for life soon stimulates the rest of the patients into rebellion. However the weight of his obligation to the other patients, his fear for his own life and the presence of the tyrannical Nurse Ratched (Alexandra Ford), begin to wear down his strength and sanity.
