that ‘Over the Top’ is an understatement when it comes to this man.

th Arts. Any discussion of Youth Arts has to start from the needs and experiences of young people today, how they engage with the arts and the resources needed to support this.

The Arts Council and Youth Council in partnership with CQAF will carry out a series of consultations before and during this years festival with Young People from across Northern Ireland. The aim is to make a positive contribution to ensuring the voices of Young People are heard and their opinions and experiences used to inform future developments in relation to Youth Arts.

Part 2: All-ages Rock Gig Bad Boat, Residual Effect & Sage
Saturday 6 May, 2.00pm - 5.00pm

Bad Boat are five guys from Belfast who are deeply into desert-rock. Brute drop-d Guitars and an angry singing - this is rough-rock also known from Bands like Fu Manchu, Dozer or Unida.

Musically, Residual Effect is a barrage of tightly played riffs, frenzied drumming, and a vocal that sets fear into many. Keen to steer away from convention, they draw on a huge array of influences in order to create a unique sound. A self titled 3 track promo cd has attracted and turned the heads of metal fans and media alike, and this year will also see an E.P release, range of merchandise and as many live shows as physically possible across the U.K. and the U.S. Distance is no object and determination is 100 per cent.

Rounding off the bill will be young contenders Sage. Rock & roll swagger with youth on their side.

Suitable for 14+. This is an alcohol free event. Admission free for All-ages Rock Gig. However, a ticket is required and spaces are limited so please reserve your ticket from Belfast Welcome Centre 028 9024 6609 or click here.
