The dedication and devotion of some of Cave’s fans surpass all senses of normalcy—it is at once touching and creepy, and constantly fascinating. The filmmakers travel to several European shows to talk to fans, and interview Cave himself about the perks and pitfalls of his unique brand of fame. What results is a fascinating sociological study of the cathartic and sometimes crazy milieu of rock semistardom.
