Jonny Bell specialises in abstract portraiture. He is greatly influenced by silent movies and film noir and likes extreme contrasts of black and white, and themes such as isolation, fear and introspection. He creates theatrical situations, photographing the models alone rather than in a group in order for the viewer to focus on the individual. Jonny has exhibited at Tate Modern in London and hopes to exhibit in Rome later this year.
