THE EXAMINATION ROOM

The Examination Room consists of a series of large scale photographic works and takes as its subject the place of the individual within the institution and the continual possibility for observation within that context. The photographs show a number of interior spaces. In each room is some form of record-keeping or medical furniture and a female occupant. The female bodies appear semi-transparent and are turned away from the viewer, as they stand or sit, quietly waiting.
