Afrish Afrish are led by Gabriel Makamanzi who was born in the eastern highlands of Zimbabwe and has been playing the Mbira and Marimba for fifteen years. Gabriel formed Afrish with Chris Todd (The Strutts) in 2007 and since then the band has played at the Belfast Maritime and Mela festivals and the Newtownards Guitar festival.
