But through his albums More Songs About Everyday Objects, Esoteric Epigrams, Seascapes and Spoken Word, Dan has become a regular and enigmatic fixture in the life of alternative Belfast.
Here he makes a welcome return to the Festival fold, ably aided and abetted by the exquisitely honed verse of the Poetry Chicks from Derry.
