Something which marks CQAF out is its ability to deliver
unusual and creative collaborations between artists. Seapark
is such a collaboration based on two artists’ childhood
recollections of a public space on the North Down coast.
Iain Archer’s album Flood the Tanks and recent support
slots for the likes of Snow Patrol and Athlete have seen him
establish himself as one of Belfast’s best songwriters
and performers. John T Davis is a film maker who for 30 years
has through films like Shell Shock Rock and The Uncle Jack,
constantly reminded us, that there is a connection between
film-making and real, heart-felt, emotive life. Both artists
are gearing up for a one off show which is sure to be at once
quirky, memorable and touching.
Tickets £8.00/£6.00 available from the
Waterfront Hall on 028 90334455
