Dark side of the Rainbow
Did Roger Waters secretly write The Dark Side of the Moon
as an alternate
soundtrack to the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz? Now is your
chance to find out with this unique experiment. Cinilingus
will play Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon to a video
projection of Wizard of Oz. Observe the long list of stunning
and mysteriously synchronisms. Could this all be bullshit?
Might be. But come along and find out.
Please Note: synchrony only lasts the length of the album.
After 45 minutes the experiment is over (and so is the movie).
Followed by Cinilingus and The Droning Bag Ensemble presents
a new live soundtrack to…
Turkish Star Wars
Check this out. Using actual footage from the original Star
Wars, the story is about 2 space fighter pilots who are shot
down over a desert planet and discover a colony of people
who are being oppressed by horse back riding mutant savages!
It’s up to them to save the people from the oppressive
mutants! Combining life size evil Muppets with a Flash Gordon
like bad guy; and stealing not only footage and soundtrack
from Star Wars, but musicfrom Indiana Jones and others. The
Droning Bag Ensemble will present a new live soundtrack
(3 years in the making) which will interpret and then re-interpret
the film. The night will feature Seamus Harahan on Accordion,
Dan Jewesbury on Banjo and Stuart Watson on live electronics
and Foley pit.
Admission £5, pay at the door
Doors open at 9.00pm
