Film makers Michael Tully and Mathew Robinson follow David Berman’s seminal band Silver Jewsas they make a brief but momentous stop-over in Israel.
Marking the first ever world tour for the notoriously stage-shy Berman, Silver Jews played two dates in Tel Aviv and visited Jerusalem back in the summer of 2006.
With unprecedented access, Tully and Robinson get up close and personal with one of the most enigmatic and seminal bands to emerge from the US in the past decade in this poignant, funny and never less than fascinating film.
