Aaron Shanley - Artist In Residence
Various locations throughout the Festival | | | | | | | | | | | Aaron started playing guitar and screaming into microphones in high school punk bands at the age of 12. At 15 he started writing acoustic songs and made a Myspace page to share them. Little did he know a strong worldwide fanbase would be the result of sharing those songs and he soon dedicated his focus on a solo career.
Between 2006 and 2007 Aaron released four bedroom-recorded EPs online and played around local open mic nights. Now receiving major support on radio locally and on Radio One, Aaron is currently working on his debut album and over the coming months will be releasing a single and video every two months to open up the road for the album due in Sept 2010.
