Maurice Orr turned to painting professionally in 2002, initially becoming inspired by the Northern Ireland landscape. He then broadened his horizons and applied for a bursary which took him to the prairies of Western Canada, it proved a turning point in his practice. Maurice Orr has works in galleries and private collections throughout Ireland and Canada.
