He is one of Britain's leading performance poets who has had his own shows on MTV, BBC 2 and is currently enjoys great popularity as a resident poet on BBC Radio 4's Saturday Live.

Dan Eggs was born and grew up in Ballymoney, Co. Antrim. He penned the popular ballad Sweet Stella of Stranocum, which is one of the most requested tracks played on BBC Radio Ulster.
