The wordsliterary bus tour of Belfast city comes to the Cathedral Quarter, in association with the Linen Hall Library. Bookworms can sit back, relax and enjoy a tour of Belfast city onboard a vintage bus with an expert commentary to guide you.
The tour, researched and guided by Dr Robbie Meredith, will uncover the Belfast links with authors who lived here, wrote here or spent time in the city. Discover Belfast through the eyes of Brian Moore, Louis MacNeice, Philip Larkin, CS Lewis, Seamus Heaney and a host of others
The tour promises to be nothing like a traditional bus tour, but instead a theatrical experience that can be enjoyed by both local people and tourists. It will feature live readings of classic Belfast literature written by those from the city, and those looking at the city with the hard eyes of the outsider.
The tour will last approximately 2hrs, traffic permitting.
