Established now for six years, the Open Arts Choir is a vibrant, all inclusive Community Choir is open to anyone aged 16 or over, regardless of disability, race, gender or past musical experience.
With over 55 members, the Choir has won many awards, including the 2003 All Ireland Busking Competition, and were recently runners-up in the 2006 Sligo International Choral Festival. Performing an eclectic repertoire of music: from Gospel to Pop, Folk to Carnival.
The Attic Light Orchestra was formed in September 2005 and has notched up a number of impressive performances with a repertoire that encompasses Reggae, Gypsy, Folk, Traditional and Carnival Music.
Expect an evening of uplifting music from two amazing groups and proof that being open to all is no barrier to excellence. |
