"Liam Ó Maonlaí... has the kind of vision evidenced in only a few popular musicians of each generation. In performance he alternates the unchecked physical fury of a Jim Morrison with the oratorical zeal of a roadside preacher."
AUSTRALIAN ROLLING STONE MAGAZINE

Liam Ó Maonlaí World Marquee Saturday 6 May, 8.00pm

Best known as the lead singer/pianist for the Celtic soul’n’roll band, Hothouse Flowers, Liam Ó Maonlaí has also enjoyed a concurrent career as a traditional Irish musician and singer. Described as “...the best white boy soul singer on the planet...” by Bono, Liam is one of Ireland’s most charismatic musical treasures.

The Hothouse Flowers first emerged from Dublin in 1985, and originally signed to U2’s Mother Records. With a solo endeavor now coming to the forefront, Liam has collaborated with a hugely impressive range of artists including Mary Black, Luka Bloom, Carly Simon, Neil Finn and Ron Wood (Rolling Stones).
