This event sees the welcome return of the sharp tongued, high energy, social surrealist rebel poet / songwriter Attila the Stockbroker.

Inspired by punk, especially the Clash and their radical political stance, Attila started performing in 1980, blagging spots in between the bands at punk gigs. John Peel sessions and music press acclaim soon followed and Attila has earned his living as a poet for more than 20 years, performing all over the world.

Attila has gigged all over the world and produced 4 books and 14 albums. In all that time, his only steady job has been as poet in residence for his beloved Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club, a post he's held for the past 5 years.

Chelley McLear has performed throughout Ireland and as far afield as Hungary and the Czech Republic. She recently opened the launch of Celebrate Belfast 2006 by special invitation from Belfast City Council with her poem Ringing the Changes.
