Music for the People Tour. William McCarthy, charismatic frontman of Brooklyn’s recently dissolved Augustines, has been touring around the world over the past six years. His band were revered for their high energy, intensely visceral live performances.

McCarthy’s life story is to be covered in the upcoming documentary Rise (Todd Howe/Big Vulture) and in this solo tour he’ll be doing what he does best – telling stories, singing songs he’s written over the past decade and a half and reading from his art journals.

These exclusive shows promise to be intimate and unique, and offer fans the chance to get up close and personal with McCarthy, who will perform his brutally honest songs in a bare, stripped back setting. A life story, in one night through song.
