Colin Bateman is the best selling author of more than 20 novels for adults and children, as well as a successful screenwriter for both film and TV.

He was a journalist before he published the award winning Divorcing Jack in 1995, which he has followed up with a string of best sellers, including Empire State, I Predict A Riot and Orpheus Rising. His screenplays for film include Divorcing Jack, Crossmaheart and Wild About Harry.

For TV, Colin created the long running series Murphy’s Law. Last year he wrote and presented Bateman on Bangor, an acclaimed documentary about his home town and how his experiences growing up there turned him into the writer he is today. His new novel is Mystery Man.

After seven non-fiction books, veteran journalist Gene Kerrigan received critical acclaim in Ireland, the UK and the USA for his first two novels, Little Criminals and The Midnight Choir. His new novel is Dark Times in the City. He lives in Dublin.

“Fresh and radical... he has something of James Joyce’s ability in conjuring a vivid Dublin.” THE INDEPENDENT ON GENE KERRIGAN
