No-one can predict precisely what will happen at a
Phil Kay show. The hairy Scottish comedian is
famous for his energetic improvisation and an
imagination that he allows to run riot.
After winning the So You Think You’re Funny award
at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (where he remains
a regular hit) in 1989, Phil went on to wow
audiences all over the world, playing at many
comedy festivals including Melbourne and
Adelaide.
His own Channel 4 show, Phil Kay Feels…, which
was recorded in front of a live studio audience saw
him, in one episode, arrive onstage naked. He has
also written for many other TV shows including
Jonathan Ross’s Saturday Show, Viva Cabaret, The
Smell of Reeves and Mortimer, Sean’s Show, Harry
Hill’s Pilot Show, and others
“…dazzled and
hypnotised the
audience, presenting
one of the greatest
comic odysseys I’ve
ever witnessed;
‘hysterical’ in every
sense of the word.” TIME OUT
