Earlier this year five Northern Irish artists were commissioned to work separately in their individual styles and bring these together as mixed piece of art.
The idea of this exhibition is that each of the five artists shall all have the chance to be the first to start a canvas and also the last to put the final touches to each of these canvases with no formal brief or collaboration.
The artists do not redraw over other artists work but keep adding on to the previous art that has been created until all five artists have worked on all five canvases to give you these fine finished pieces. The exhibition shall consist of the five finished works and a series of photographs which demonstrate how the project came to fruition. |
