Since starting the violin at the tender age of three, Ruby has developed her skills and interests surrounding the violin in many different areas. Initially classically trained, she went on to develop her skills at the Royal Academy of music aged 13.
Ruby experiments with musical genres such as electronica, avant rock, folk and contemporary classical. The music she is currently performing in and around Belfast is an eclectic mix of all these influences.
Ruby is currently working on material using a sampler peddle with the intention of creating a unique set of compositions specifically designed for live performance.

When Ruby gets her chance, she flies..... never losing balance, poise and melody in her flourishes. Using a loopstation, she builds up a fascinating collage of sound. FASTFUDE.COM
