Ruby Colley
Since starting the violin at the tender age of three, Ruby has developed her skills and interests surrounding the violin in many different areas. Initially classically trained, she went on to develop her skills at the Royal Academy of music aged 13. At 18, she left the Academy and completed a degree at Dartington College of Arts where she experimented with other musical genres such as electronica, avant rock, folk and contemporary classical. The music she is currently performing in and around Belfast is an eclectic mix of all these influences.

Eugene McGuinness
Eugene McGuinness’ first venture, the sublime album The Early Learnings of Eugene McGuinness was released by Double Six (an imprint of Domino Records) in August and heralded the arrival of a remarkable young talent.
Eugene is a refreshing change from the current wave of young singers fabricated to appeal to a particular youth market and offers a new take on the singer-songwriter stereotype. More universal in his appeal, further reaching than just his own generation and, most importantly, he’s sincere, completely unaffected and has no agenda other than to write catchy, layered, humorous and intelligent pop songs so his “name can be passed around for a while”.
Playing solo for only a few months, Eugene has already had regular plays on Radio 1 including a session on Huw Stephens and plays by Steve Lamacq as well as several key festival dates including Glastonbury and Latitude.

Boathouse
Formed in 2006, Boathouse have been causing a major stir in local music circles with a sound that brings to mind a car crash between The Pixies, Broken Social Scene and Arcade Fire with a twist that is entirely their own.
