Formed in January 2007, Sólo Flamenco is the initiative of six friends, all brought together by the art of Flamenco.
Having danced with various teachers in Dublin and abroad, it's under the tuition of London-based dancer and choreographer Felipe de Algeciras that they decide to form a group and perform under the name Sólo Flamenco.
In 2007, the group performed at the Dun Laoghaire Festival of World Cultures and also took part in a number of Flamenco gatherings, or Juergas, around Dublin.
Currently they can be found dancing every Wednesday at La Paloma Spanish Restaurant in Dublin.
