Twenty years after he beat her and left her for dead, Njambi is forced to confront her deep-seeded anger for her father when their paths unexpectedly cross again at her brother’s wedding.
The presence of this unexpected ‘guest of honour’ creates a night to remember, and a piece of theatre never to forget. This is an hour of dark comedy guaranteed to make you laugh and cry.
Kenyan-born Njambi appeared on the UK comedy circuit in 2010 and was soon voted Top 5 Up and Coming Female Comedians 2012 by The Independent.
Njambi has been profiled on several media platforms, including The Guardian, Scotland on Sunday, The Conversation (BBC World Service), ITV’s 6 O’clock News and Sky News, and last October was invited to do a two-women show at the Durban Playhouse Theatre which received rave reviews.
